WELCOME TO DANCE DICE !
Featured in the April 2007 issue of Dance Teacher magazine, Dance Dice is a new innovative teaching tool to bring into class to motivate, inspire, and challenge your students. Dance Dice was created by Jacqueline Briar Baligian , a dance teacher for over 20 years. In creating Dance Dice Jacqueline's goal was to provide fellow dance teachers with an educational , yet fun, activity to use in class. Something that would not only,enforce technique and the knowledge of dance , but also encourage the dance student to think outside of the box. To push and challenge the imagination. To not only think of dance as a series of steps and movement , but also as a way of expressing any emotion.
With Dance Dice the possibilities are endless. There are ten DIFFERENT sets , one to suit every genre and level of dance.
The rules are simple, just roll the dice, put the steps together,and move ! Move quickly, slowly, roboticly, strongly! With one roll of the dice the mood of a step or series of steps changes instantly. Supplies are limited so order now before it's too late !!
